KOMODO Fire Systems, Inc. announce USDA / U.S. Forest Service approval and QPL (Qualified Products List) certifications for its premier KOMODO fire protection, prevention, retardation, and suppression product.
Morgan Hill, California: KOMODO Fire Systems, Inc. announces USDA / U.S. Forest Service approval and QPL (Qualified Products List) certifications for its premier KOMODO fire protection, prevention, retardation, and suppression product. Following extensive and comprehensive testing, KOMODO has passed and exceeded all USDA / U.S. Forest Service requirements for product performance; toxicity; corrosion and abrasion; non-metallics compatibility; stability; and other critical prerequisites for the U.S. Forest Service Qualified Products List (QPL).
Our premier KOMODO fire protection, prevention, retardation, and suppression product has undergone over a year of rigorous USDA / U.S. Forest Service testing and evaluation including tests to ensure low levels of mammalian and aquatic toxicity (both fresh and saltwater fish), as well as evaluations of KOMODO’s impact upon human health and the environment as a whole. Our KOMODO formulation was subjected to comprehensive corrosion testing on nearly a dozen different metals and carefully measured for its overall fire retardant efficacy. We are proud to announce that KOMODO not only passed all tests completely, but also exceeded many of the USDA / U.S. Forest Service criteria for the QPL.
KOMODO Fire Systems, Inc. is one of only three companies in the world to meet all of the USDA / U.S. Forest Service benchmarks to be listed on the QPL, and our KOMODO long-term fire retardant can now be utilized for truly effective and eco-friendly fire protection and prevention on federal and most state forest lands throughout the United States.
KOMODO Fire Systems, Inc. is also making our QPL long-term KOMODO fire retardant available for global distribution and deployment, as many countries including Canada, Mexico, and Australia have already utilized QPL products to combat wildfires in the past.
